Liquid Glass Logo - Experiment for Martijn Loth
Liquid Glass is the translucent interface material Apple introduced at WWDC 2025 and shipped across iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26 Tahoe — its biggest visual change since iOS 7. Rather than simply blurring what sits behind it, a Liquid Glass surface refracts that content like a real lens, picks up specular highlights as the device moves, and adapts its tint to whatever passes underneath.
That last part is what separates it from glassmorphism, the 2020 trend it is often confused with. Glassmorphism is a static recipe — background blur, a hairline border, a soft shadow. Liquid Glass is simulated per frame, and it reacts.
This gallery collects the best examples of both, across interface design, generative art, and motion. Every item includes a ready-to-use AI style prompt distilled from its cover, so you can make new work in the same style instead of only looking at it.
