The short version
Liquid Glass Design is a reference gallery. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, and no form anywhere on the site that asks you for anything. The only thing that watches you here is one Google Analytics tag, and the only thing stored on your device is whether you picked light or dark mode.
Nothing collected is sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build a profile of you. There are no ad networks, no retargeting pixels, and no third-party trackers beyond the analytics tag named below.
Analytics
Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-45RFLV6JJ1). It records the usual: which pages were viewed and in what order, roughly where in the world the request came from, which site or search engine referred you, and what browser and device you used. It sets its own cookies to tell one visit from the next.
This is used to see which references people actually look at and which search terms bring them here. It is not tied to a name, an email, or any account, because the site has none to tie it to.
What stays in your browser
Your light/dark choice is written to localStorage under the key theme. It is read before the page paints so the site doesn't flash the wrong colour at you. It is never transmitted anywhere. Clearing your site data removes it, and the site falls back to your operating system's preference.
Search works the same way. Opening the search dialog fetches the list of every item on the site once, and the matching happens entirely inside your browser — what you type into that box is never sent to a server.
Who else sees a request
Loading a page here necessarily involves a few other parties, each of which sees the request in the ordinary course of serving it:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and serves its images, and keeps standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, URL, user agent) as any web host does.
- Google receives the analytics events described above.
That is the entire list. Fonts are self-hosted and served from this domain — the site makes no request to Google Fonts at page load — and no other third-party script runs on any page.
Links that leave the site
Gallery items link out to wherever the work was originally published — Dribbble, Behance, X, Figma Community, GitHub and similar. Once you follow one of those, that site's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
One outbound link is ours: the sidebar promo for the Liqui component library carries campaign parameters and deliberately passes this site as the referrer, so visits arriving there can be attributed to this gallery. It carries no identifier for you personally — only the fact that the click came from here.
Your choices
Any content blocker or browser tracking-protection setting will stop the analytics tag from loading; the site is built to work normally without it. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Analytics everywhere. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes both the analytics cookies and the saved theme.
Because nothing here is tied to an identity, there is no account to delete and no profile to export. If you believe a request of yours is nonetheless identifiable and you want it removed from the analytics data, write to the address below and it will be handled.
